So in an effort to try and be better about updating anyone interested in where Duncan’s Books and More will be, I’m doing a full post on all of our March events.  Read more to find out where we will be and what we will be doing!

First up, we will be out at Pioneer Days in Kearny, AZ, our new home town, a lovely hour and half drive from Central Phoenix. Not only is it a charming view but Pioneer Days will be full of fun and festive things to do. From the name, you can tell it’s all about celebrating our Western heritage and it will take place across four days starting tomorrow, Thursday March 6th through Sunday March 9th. On Thursday and Friday, there will be a carnival and a petting zoo along with a delicious amount of food and music. Non Food vendors will also be there from 4pm – 6pm with the festivities lasting until 10pm. On Saturday the fun starts at 11am and goes until 11pm. Duncan’s Books and More will be there from 12pm -6pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. There will be tournaments, games, the carnival, food and music. Come out and check out our wonderful Kearny celebration. 

For our second event in March, we will be in Tucson for the Festival of Books. The Festival has grown over the years but so too has our group of authors. While we are not selling our books, we will have our art and jewelry and will be assisting some of the best local authors around. The Tucson Festival of Books will be Saturday March 15th and Sunday March 16th. Along with our tent, in the 100 area next to the Arizona Daily Star Stage, there is tons to do at the event, including panels with amazing authors, both traditionally published and independent authors. There is food and entertainment, including science activities for children. You can find more out about the event at Tucson Festival of Books

For our final March event, we will be at Apache Junction LibraryCon 12 March 22nd at 

1177 N Idaho Rd, Apache Junction, AZ, United States, Arizona 85119 from 10am-2pm. Not only will we be there with all of our normal fare, but Blue Ribbon Army will be joining us along with a great selection of other vendors. There will be a Cosplay Runway, Trivia BINGO, and Comic Book Art along with a Kona Ice. It might not be as big as our other events but like all of our library cons, it helps to support the local library and bring readers to them.
